It appears that Gran Turismo 5 has been delayed as indicated in a statement to Eurogamer.  Although this appears to only relate to the Japanese Market at the moment, one can’t help but be scared given this is the home country for the franchise and further have declined to comment nor offer any European release date.

Sony Japan had announced a March 2010 release date for Gran Turismo 5 back at Tokyo Game Show in 2009.

It seems GT5 has been pushed forward so many times, we may as well start writing our editorials on this one.  Come on Sony, if this is your flagship title, lets hope it hits your console this generation!

I certainly think it will get a favourable score, and maybe a 10/10, but the benchmark and the bar for this game is alwatys evolving. This should have been released years ago and frankly most PS3 owners have given up and moved on to Forza 3, a much better game indeed.

on N4G would disagree. The way it's being spun is unbelievable. Basically, Forza I(and everything else, but mainly Forza) and GT is the be all end all...REAL racing. It's also because Sony developers are and I quote "serious about there craft" lol,.
